09:15 Departure with your guide from Caen (plan to arrive 15 minutes early)From Pegasus Bridge to Arromanches: Stop at Pegasus Bridge, the first place liberated in France by a commando from the British 6th Airborne Division, whose emblem is Pegasus, stop at Ouistreham beach (Sword Beach), the only French landing site on June 6, 1944, the green berets of the "Kieffer commando", discovery at Juno Beach of the Cross of Lorraine of Graye-sur-Mer symbolizing the landing site of General De Gaulle on June 14, 1944, arrival at Arromanches via Gold Beach, discovery of the remains of the artificial port of Arromanches.
