High Tides: a rare phenomenon!
The next Great Tides are to be discovered in 2026 between :

- thursday 16 to tuesday 21 april
- thursday 10 to tuesday 15 september

Located on the west coast of Normandy, the Great Tides are part of our DNA. Enjoy an unforgettable experience at Mont Saint-Michel, which becomes an island encircled by the sea a few times a year. Enjoy immersive tractor rides at low tide, explore the cliffs of Cap Fréhel, marvel at the sandy beaches of Granville, taste authentic local produce in an exceptional setting.
The program
Day 1: Arrival and installation at the end of the day
Day 2: Cancale – Barrage de la Rance / Baie des Corsaires – Saint-Malo
Day 3: Granville / Côte des havres / La Balade d’Anton
Day 4: Watching the High Tides at Mont Saint-Michel / Panoramic view of the Bay then visit to a caramel farm
Day 5: Dinan / Cap Fréhel – Côte d’Emeraude
Day 6: End of trip and departure for the return journey

Cancale
Between Saint-Malo and the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, Cancale boasts a picturesque port, lively lanes and famous oysters. Panoramic tour with commentary and stop at the Pointe du Grouin. From this wild, rocky point 40 metres above sea level, the spectacle of the spring tides is breathtaking.

Mont Saint-Michel
Discover the dam on the Couesnon and the access footbridge that has restored the maritime character of Mont Saint-Michel. Witness the natural spectacle of the Great Tides, when the Mont becomes an island once again. Visit the Mont encircled by the sea, followed by an unusual guided walk through the centuries-old streets of the Mont.

La Balade d’Anton – (Exclusive)
From the seaside resort of Coutainville, a 1h45-minute live guided tour of the foreshore at low tide. Comfortably installed and sheltered aboard a unique carriage, discover the oyster beds, the lines of bouchot mussels, the spatbeds, the reserves… Oyster tasting with a glass of white wine.

Cap Fréhel
Cap Fréhel, located in the Côtes d’Armor region, is one of Brittany’s most beautiful natural sites. Its high pink sandstone cliffs offer spectacular views of the sea and the Emerald Coast. Surrounded by flower-filled moors and dominated by its emblematic lighthouse, the cape is home to a rich fauna of seabirds. Panoramic return to the bay from Saint-Briac to Dinard.
