The Normandy bocage lights up
Every year in December, the Villes et Villages Illuminés (Towns and Villages Illuminated ) fairy tale comes back to life. Nearly a hundred volunteers from the Normandy bocage take part in the event, transforming villages into theaters of light.
Thousands of magical motifs are designed and prepared over several months by volunteers who are passionate about Christmas and lights, illuminating streets, squares and houses.

Discovering Brittany’s villages at Christmas
As Christmas approaches, many of Brittany’s villages are decked out in magical lights. Their stone facades, typical of the region, are transformed under the glittering garlands, and Christmas markets set up in small wooden chalets, creating a warm and enchanted atmosphere.
Saint-Malo, Dinan, Locronan, Rochefort-en-Terre…
So many charming villages all year round, which become all the more sparkling during the festive season.
