The Rouen Armada

Every 4 to 5 years, the Armada de Rouen transforms the quays of Rouen into a spectacular show. It returns from June 17 to 27, 2027, and is one of the world’s largest gatherings of sailing ships. The event brings together exceptional ships from the four corners of the globe. An event not to be missed!

Les fêtes maritimes de Brest & la semaine du Golfe du Morbihan

In 2027, Brittany will celebrate the sea with two major events: the Fêtes Maritimes de Brest and the Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan. In Brest, the quays come alive with the world’s largest ships, while in the Golfe du Morbihan, flotillas of old sailing ships offer spectacular parades in the heart of an exceptional natural setting.

The Channel Islands are accessible from Granville, Carteret, Diélette and Saint-Malo. Since April 1, 2026, new access conditions have come into force.

To remember:

• For French nationals, day trips to Jersey and Guernsey are still possible with a simple identity card (5-year extension not accepted), until September 30, 2026.
• Presenting a passport now implies obtaining an ETA (electronic travel authorization).
• These documents are mandatory for all overnight stays and inter-island trips.
